Australian Idol - American Hits Night - Teale Jakubenko - No Such Thing

Chris Isaak said "Teale Jakubenko picked two songs he can really sing; John Mayer's No Such Thing and Justin Timberlakes What Goes Around Comes Around". Teale said "I don’t want to try and be Justin Timberlake, but John Mayer's the sort of music style I'd like to do after Idol is finished. I need to get out there and perform it". Chris Isaak said "You want to make sure that you're having fun, you're in control".

Marcia said "First and foremost, everyone needs to keep in mind what this is. It's a live show, and things happen. I don't know what happened, but you kept it together. That was one of the most joyous things I've seen you do".

Chris Isaak said "When we working on this at rehearsals, you had your eyes shut, and you were acting shy. But when you came out, you were with it, and I think you made a girlfriend over there in the audience".

Kyle said "There was a problem at the start, but you fixed it in seconds. By the time I realised something was going on, you had fixed it. You looked like you had fun with it, nice work".

Dicko said "I thought it was a little repressed. You don't need a vocal coach, you need a psychologists couch. We need to find a way to put some fire in there. It was bright and shiny and airy, but it lacked substance".
